In this data protection declaration, we describe how we collect and process information by which you can possibly be identified (personal data) when you visit our website, use our applications, buy our products or use our services.
1. Personal data that we collect and process in order to make our website available
Active disclosure of personal data is not required for the use of our website. When you visit our website, we collect technical data in order to make our website available.
With every connection to a web server, the server on which we provide our website and applications automatically logs and saves certain technical data. This data includes the IP address and the operating system of your device, the date and time of use, the website from which you are visiting us and the type of browser with which you access our website. As far as we process personal data, we do this in order to offer you the best possible user experience and to guarantee the security and stability of our systems.
We use fonts from Google (Google Fonts) on our website. In order to integrate the fonts from Google Fonts into the website, your browser connects to the Google LL.C. server. ("Google") in California. The IP address of your device is transmitted to Google. You can find more information about Google Fonts here: https://fonts.google.com.
2. Personal data that we collect and process for the provision of services
We collect and process contract-relevant personal data for the purpose of providing services and providing information about our services.
To answer your inquiries, we need your first name, last name and email address. For opening a customer account, concluding and processing contracts relating to the use of chargeable services and for shopping in the web shop (shop.mythync.com, shop.thync.it), we need further information, in particular the means of payment you have chosen as well as information required for regulatory purposes in particular to the holder of the organizational data and to the recipient of the invoice.
Our partners Stripe (stripe.com) or PayPal (paypal.com) process your payments directly for us (except when paying by bank transfer). We only receive transaction data such as the amount of the transaction and a payment confirmation from Stripe and PayPal. We do not collect or store any credit card information. You can find information on how Stripe and PayPal handle your payment data here:
We process the contact and transaction data in order to conclude and fulfill a contract with you. In order to inform you about new developments as well as services and offers from Thync.it, we will send you corresponding commercial information (e.g. via newsletters) if you are interested and register. You can choose not to receive such information at any time.
3. Personal data that we process when providing services
When providing services, we process personal data and other data that you choose to save on the infrastructure we use to provide the service, as well as personal data relating to people to whom you grant access to our Thync.it platform and the applications. In particular, this concerns personal data that is usually collected when the applications are called up, executed and used (log data, e.g. the IP address and the operating system of the user's device as well as the date and access time of the browser). This also includes the data entered by the user as well as the personal-related usage data collected from you.
Cookies are text files that are downloaded to your computer or mobile device when you visit a website or use an application. Some of them (so-called session cookies) are necessary so that we can enable you to use certain functions (e.g. the choice of the desired region, language, access to Thync.it and the storage of the order progress).
By adjusting the settings of your web browser accordingly or by setting an opt-out cookie, you can prevent the respective service from storing cookies on your device and collecting data. You can also delete cookies that have already been saved at any time. Please note, however, that some functions of the website or our applications may be restricted or not available if you deactivate the storage of cookies.
5. Data that we collect and process in order to analyze and improve the use of our website
We use Google analysis services to evaluate the use of our website and to obtain information for the purpose of improving our services.
We only use Google Analytics with activated IP anonymization. This means that your IP address will be shortened in Switzerland, the EU or the EEA. The full IP address will only be sent to a Google server in the USA and shortened there in exceptional cases. Accordingly, Google only stores the information collected via cookies in anonymized form and processes it in aggregated form. You can prevent Google Analytics from using your data by downloading and installing a browser add-on to deactivate Google Analytics (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de). Further information on data protection and your options in connection with Google Analytics can be found here: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de.
